Expleo is working with a leading automotive OEM, supporting their mission to redefine modern luxury through cutting-edge engineering and design. We're currently seeking a CAD Author to join the Virtual Build & Test team within Engineering Operations. This is an initial 12 month contract based in The Midlands.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking, innovation-driven environment, delivering CAD modifications that directly support digital validation and virtual build across the vehicle product lifecycle.

You'll play a key role in shaping the future of automotive design and engineering by using your CAD expertise to deliver data that enables robust virtual validation.

Key Responsibilities;

• Deliver CAD modifications aligned with engineering direction
• Ensure compatibility with CAE requirements and virtual build standards
• Support alignment reviews and provide validated CAD models
• Adhere to CAD standards and gather stakeholder feedback

Skills & Experience

Essential:

• Proficient in CATIA V5 and Teamcenter
• Strong understanding of automotive CAD standards and processes
• Detail-oriented with good problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Desirable:

• Experience with CATIA V6 / 3DEXPERIENCE
• Exposure to digital engineering or virtual validation
