Construction Manager - E&P/ P&D

Vital have a really exciting opportunity for a P&D Construction Manager who is looking for a new challenge to work alongside a highly knowledgeable E&P / D&P team. We are looking for an individual who has had Construction Management experience ideally within a contractor environment.

Our client is a reputable contractor within the rail sector who has worked on the UK s biggest engineering and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities/ Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Construction Manager within E&P / D&P.
  • Be qualified to degree level (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline and hold a professional qualification such as CEng or MAPM.
  • Plan and manage resource allocation, including labour, plant, and material resources.
  • Implement and drive health and safety standards across projects.
  • Manage sub-contractors and liaise with additional stakeholders.
  • Deliver construction management duties on rail infrastructure projects.
  • Oversee sub-stations, power supply, and feeder works.
  • Utilise LV and HV experience to ensure project success.
  • Ensure effective delivery of E&P projects, driving work progress.
  • Strong knowledge & experience of Rail Systems
