Annual
Teach engaging KS3KS4 D&T lessons (e.g., Product Design, Resistant Materials, Graphics/Engineering).
Plan, deliver and assess in line with the National Curriculum and exam specs (GCSE).
Use CAD/CAM where appropriate (e.g., 2D Design/Fusion 360/laser cutter).
Maintain a safe, well-organised workshop and uphold H&S procedures.
Track progress, provide timely feedback, and contribute to department improvement.
Support enrichment (clubs/interventions) and attend parents evenings as required.
QTS/QTLS (ECTs welcome) and strong classroom management.
Recent D&T teaching experience at KS3KS4.
Up-to-date knowledge of GCSE assessment.
Enhanced DBS (on the Update Service or willing to apply) and two references.
Competitive pay (MPS/UPS or equivalent, depending on experience).
