Opening times for Leamington Spa's recycling centre have been announced for the bank holiday weekend.

Warwickshire County Council has confirmed the timings for Princes Drive and its other tips across the area.

The news comes after centres closed this week having become overwhelmed by unexpected demand.

Over the Easter break, all sites will be open on Saturday 4 April and Easter Sunday 5 April.

The smaller sites of Cherry Orchard in Kenilworth, Shipston, Stockton and Wellesbourne will be closed on Good Friday 3 April and Easter Monday 6 April due to planning permission restrictions. 

Extended summer opening times also begin on April 1.

Sites will stay open until 6pm on Wednesdays - except for Stockton, Shipston and Wellesbourne.

And until 5.30pm on weekends - excluding Shipston.

Bookings are still not needed at local recycling centres.
