Here are our top picks for the rest of April:
1. Armed Forces Day
Armed Forces Day is taking place this weekend.
The annual event honours both current and former serving members of the Armed Forces and their families.
It is free to attend and locals can expect activities, information, performances and displays aimed at families, individuals, military enthusiasts and current and former serving members of the Armed Forces.
This year, the event will take place on Saturday 27 June from 11am to 4pm at the Pump Room Gardens.
Last year, the event saw a village of stalls showcasing the military museums from Warwick, performances by Ruby Ann Sings, local military regiments, military vehicles, free children's activities including bouncy castle, trampolines and assault course, free hot dogs and ice-creams and a Sikh Langar vegetarian food and a tri-service competition.

Having performed at major sporting events, Jamie is one of the most experienced performers in his field.

3. Lavender Farm
Warwickshire's Lavender Farm is still open for visits.
The eight-acre lavender farm in Bubbenhall, which hosts over 12,000 hand-planted lavender plants, allowed locals to visit for the first time in 2022.
Warwickshire Lavender Farm, on Watery Lane, began its life in 2016 as a retirement project for husband and wife Ian and Pippa Jamie.
The couple first started planting at their Weston Under Wetherley home to give somewhere for beekeeper Ian to keep his bees.
The field will be open this year when the flowers are in bloom, from 19 June 2026 until 9 August, on Wednesdays through to Sundays from 10am to 4pm
The Lavender cafe is also now open every Saturday from 10am to 4pm and provides hot and cold drinks and cake until it runs out.
All the profits from the site will be donated to charity, with just the farm's running costs covered.
