Warwickshire's largest Santa Dash comes to Leamington this weekend

Leamington is set to see the arrival of not one, but hundreds of Santa Clauses this weekend, with Warwickshire's Largest Santa Dash.

The event will take place this Sunday 14 December at 9am, with those participating dressed head to toe in a santa suit or other festive clothing, while they run, jog or walk around Victoria Park and Leamington Spa throughout the 5K route.

Children can also take part in the mini dash, starting at 10.05am, for those under the age of eight.

Attendees can enter their festive pooch into the Best Dressed Dog competition to be in with the chance to win some amazing prizes!

Food and drink will be available to purchase on the day with a variety of breakfast items.

Guests can enjoy the variety of Christmas performances and sing along to the classic carols to get you into the Christmas spirit.

Here is the full schedule for the day:

  • 9:00am – Registration opens / Royal Brass Band (Set 1)
  • 9:45am – Best Dressed Dog Competition
  • 9:50am – Christmas Performance
  • 10:05am – Mini Dash Warm-Up
  • 10:10am – Mini Dash (for under 8s)
  • 10:25am – Main Dash Warm-Up
  • 10:30am – Santa Dash 5k Start (with festive snow!)
  • 10:30am – Royal Brass Band (Set 2)
  • 10:45am onwards – Mince pies, mulled wine & Christmas carols
  • 11:15am – Christmas Performance

While online registration for the event has now closed, on the day registration will be open from 9am to 10.15am.

Prices are £25 for adults and £10 for children.
