Warwickshire pub undergoes refurbishment

Refurbishments are being made to a Warwickshire pub.
The Great Western in Deppers Bridge, Harbury, has seen significant changes to its interior this week.
The pub has been unoccupied since shortly after 2016, but it soon closed again after being bought in 2012.
Its current owner, Shane Bland, gained ownership of the pub in May this year (2025).
Now he is working to transform it.
This week, plastering has been taking place across the building, ready for colour next week.
Tiling is also set to be completed for the male and accessible toilets, with the women's toilets to be started soon, and kitchen installation is underway, with owners " so looking forward to some proper pub grub !"
This weekend, the planting of sleeper beds will also help to bring the pub to life.
Owners have apologised for any delays or disturbances on the southern road, due to the installation of traffic lights for safety while gas lines are being tested.
