Several roads in Leamington are to be impacted by congestion as works are carried out.

National Grid Electricity will be carrying out essential network reinforcement works at the High Street, Tachbrook Road and Old Warwick Road junction near Leamington Railway Station.

This will begin today (Friday 1 August) and last until Wednesday, 20 August.

Multi-way traffic signals will be in place 24/7, and congestion is expected.

Warwick County Council shared: "If you can, please avoid the area and use alternative routes.

"Thank you for your patience while these important works are completed."
