2. Childish Things exhibition

Explore the Childish Things exhibition at Leamington Spa Art Galley & Museum.

Enjoy this playful, nostalgic and intergenerational exhibition that explores childhood.

Presenting artworks and objects from the Leamington Spa Art Galley & Museum collection, the exhibition will ask visitors to reflect on the things we put away as we grow and invite them to bring out their childish side.

Favourites from the art collection, like Anne Finlay's Study For A Woman's Life will be shown alongside toys, games and objects from the social history collection. While grown-ups can indulge in nostalgia, younger visitors will be able to engage with the exhibition through tailored labels and interactive activities.

The exhibition runs from 24 October to 1 February 2026.

Free exhibition open Tuesday- Sunday 10am-4pm and Bank Holidays

3. Run Club with Sculpt

Hate running alone? Then why not try a running club where you can run in solitary and kick off the new year with a healthy start?

Leamington's Sculpt weekly Run Club is back this January.

Join fellow runners on 8 January from 5.30 to 7.30pm.

Organisers said: "Science backs what every runner knows first hand: the discipline sharpens focus, lifts your mood, and lowers stress.

"But discipline can be tough to sustain on your own—and that's where community makes all the difference.

"Sculpt Run Club transforms running from a solitary grind into a shared movement. When you run with others, excuses fade, momentum builds, and resilience grows.

"Side by side, we push further, keep each other accountable, and celebrate progress that consistency makes possible. Every stride isn't just about covering ground—it's about building strength in body and mind, and proving to yourself that growth is best achieved together."
