Last week marked the successful introduction of Leamington's new markets, organised by CJ's Events Warwickshire.

The first of the new weekly markets took place on Friday, 1 August, on Holly Walk in Leamington.

Given CJ's Events' experience in running markets in Kenilworth and Warwick, expanding to Leamington was a natural progression.

Jamie Probert-Walker from CJ's Events said: "We're really pleased with the feedback we, and our traders received following our first Friday Market.

"Holly Walk has proved to be the perfect setting, offering a relaxed yet vibrant atmosphere that suited this style of market perfectly.

"We welcomed visitors not only from across the District, but also from as far as Coventry and the outskirts of Rugby, who came specifically for the market. 

"The mix of independent traders, artisan produce, and handmade goods went down well with shoppers

"We're excited to build on this momentum and look forward to growing the market in the coming months in partnership with the District Council, giving people even more reason to visit Leamington on a Friday."
