Happy Garden UK: A business reimagining the way it use planters

"A simple pot can change the feeling of a space. That small idea is what inspired The Happy Garden."

A business that started in India is now bringing a fresh idea to the UK garden and home décor market.

The Happy Garden, a company specialising in galvanised metal pots and planters, is not only offering distinctive products but also encouraging people to rethink how everyday items can be used.

The business was originally established in 2017 in India, before expanding to the UK in 2025. The founder launched the UK branch with a clear vision: to introduce high-quality metal planters while also changing the way people think about them.

Founder of the company Anuj Bhatia shared: "I've always been fascinated by how small details can completely change the atmosphere of a space. Something as simple as a planter on a table or a decorative tray on a shelf can instantly make a place feel warmer and more welcoming."

A heritage of metal craftsmanship

The Happy Garden's products are manufactured in Moradabad, a city in India famous for its metal craftsmanship. Often referred to as a hub for metalwork, Moradabad has a long tradition of skilled artisans producing decorative and functional items.

The company operates a factory in India employing over 150 people, where each planter and metal product is produced before being exported to the UK and other international markets.

This combination of traditional craftsmanship and modern design allows Happy Garden to offer a range of galvanised metal pots, planters, trays, and decorative containers.

More than just plant plots

While metal planters are commonly associated with gardening, The Happy Garden's mission is to show customers that these products can be used in many different ways.

Anuj said: "If I give someone a pot, the first thing they think about is putting a plant in it. But our products have many uses. It's about being creative."

In cafés and restaurants, multi-pot stands have been used to serve fries, hold cutlery, or store napkins. In homes, trays and containers can be used for jewellery, watches, or table centrepieces. Businesses have also used customised pots as corporate gifts or promotional items, sometimes engraved with their company name and seasonal messages.

This versatility is something the company is keen to highlight as it grows in the UK market.

Expanding Across the UK and Europe

The Happy Garden currently sells its products through several channels including its website, Amazon, and direct business partnerships. The company already supplies customers across the UK and has begun working with clients in Germany as well.

New product ranges are also planned, with additional designs expected to launch later this year.

Although some major retailers sell similar items, the founder believes Happy Garden's focus on this niche product category allows the business to offer something different.

The company is also preparing to attend several upcoming events where customers will be able to see the products in person and learn more about the brand. This includes Leamington's market taking place on 3 April 2026, Warwick market on 4 April and Easterfest on 6 April (image supplied)
