The organisers of the South Warwickshire Literary Festival have announced the cancellation of two scheduled evening events due to "unforeseen circumstances."

The events were originally set to take place at Mill Street in Leamington on Thursday, 12 June and Thursday, 18 September.

In a statement, organisers confirmed that both evenings will no longer go ahead: "Due to unforeseen circumstances, the evening events at Mill Street have been cancelled.

"All ticket holders will receive a refund in due course."

Despite the cancellations, the main festival day remains unaffected and will proceed as planned on Saturday, 20 September at The Fold in Leamington.
