HS2 works are set to take place near the B4451 in Southam starting at the end of the month.

Under a single lane closure, works will begin on the earthworks near the B4451, Kineton Road from Saturday 28 March 2026.

Under a road closure, HS2 will be diverting utilities onto the new bridge.

Temporary traffic lights will be in place on Kineton Road for a single lane closure across three weekends.

The planned closures includes:

• From 8am on Saturday 28 March to 5pm Sunday 29 March
• From 8am on Saturday 11 April to 5pm Sunday 12 April
• From 8am on Saturday 25 April to 5pm Sunday 26 April.

There will also be a full road closure on the weekend of Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 April, to enable the realigning of utilities onto the new bridge.
