Several road closures have been announced this month (March 2026) to enable HS2 works in and around Leamington

While there are already ongoing closures, upcoming ones are set to begin this with.

The B4115 Ashow Road crossroads in Stoneleigh will be closed from 7 to 8 March, from 7am-2pm for resurfacing, road markings and drainage works.

Another closure will take place on B4453 Rugby Road, Cubbington. where the road will be closed 24/7 from 9 to 22 March for business access construction and utility connections.

Pedestrian and cyclist access will be maintained.

And the A425 Leamington Road, Southam will be closed from 12 to 13 March from 9:30am to 3:30pm for maintenance access and drainage works.

Temporary traffic lights are currently in place and set to remain until 20 March.

Fully signed diversions will also be in place for all closures.

A reminder of ongoing HS2 works and road closures inclue the A445 Leicester Lane, Cubbington which is closed 24/7 until 6 March for utility diversions ahead of road realignment.

Ridgeway Lane, Ufton is closed 24/7 until 13 March for positioning of the new Longhole Viaduct over the Grand Union Canal and Hunningham Road, Offchurch is also closed 24/7 until 24 March for road realignment and utility reconnections. Pedestrian and cyclist access maintained.
