By Nadia Sayed 31st Mar 2026
Royal Leamington Spa Town Council has announced the official launch of its community grant funding Programme for 2026/27, opening on 1 April.
This year, the total funding pot has increased to £58,000, which will be distributed across three funding rounds. Grants of up to £2,000 will be available to support local Groups and organisations delivering projects that benefit the community.
The increase follows another successful year for the programme.
In 2025/26, more than £48,000 was awarded to local community organisations, helping to fund a wide range of initiatives across Royal Leamington Spa.
Application for this year's programme will be considered across three rounds, with the following deadlines:
• Friday 15 May
• Friday 14 August
• Friday 4 December
The Mayor of Royal Leamington Spa, Cllr Ruggy Singh, said: "We are proud to announce that our Community Grant Fund has increased this year to £58,000. This will provide more opportunities for local non-profit organisations and community groups to secure funding to support them in 2026/27."
"The deadline for the first funding round is 15 May, so I encourage organisations to visit our website, check their eligibility and apply for funding."
Local groups seeking guidance or support with their Community Grant applications are invited to attend a free "How To" Workshop on Saturday 18 April, from 11am-1pm at The YDNI Centre AT Cottage Square. The session will offer practical advice on completing applications and understanding the funding criteria.
To book a place, please email the Deputy Town Clerk, Katherine Geddes, at [email protected].
