Royal Leamington Spa Town Council is offering a grant to community groups to help support their efforts to address the challenges of climate change.

The Climate Change Grant will be available for not-for-profit community groups based in the town and can fund a variety of initiatives focused on reducing carbon emissions and promoting sustainable practices.

Examples of projects could include, but are not limited to:

  • Sustainable Travel: Initiatives that encourage the use of sustainable modes of transport, including cycling, walking, and public transport.
  • Renewable and Low-Carbon Energy: Activities that focus on reducing energy use through renewable energy generation and the adoption of low-carbon technologies.
  • Awareness and Education: Projects aimed at raising awareness of climate change issues, helping to increase understanding and encourage action within the community.

Those interested in applying for the grants or those with further questions should contact the Town Clerk, Stephen Marks, at [email protected]
