Routine check spirals into high-speed police pursuit ending in arrest near Leamington

A routine document check on an Audi A5 in Leamington escalated into a high-speed police pursuit yesterday (14 November).
Officers pursued the vehicle into Leek Wootton, where they promptly and safely brought the chase to an end.
The driver was arrested at the scene and is now confronting multiple charges, including dangerous driving, driving without insurance, and driving without following the conditions of the licence,
Officers also discovered Class B drugs, leading to an additional possession charge.
Local police have described the incident as "another strong result" for road safety and enforcement efforts.
