A planned road closure will be in place at the end of this month to allow for HS2 works in Cubbington.

The works will take place on A445 Leicester Lane from Monday to 27 April to Friday 8 May

A full road closure will be in place between 8am and 6pm with temporary traffic lights overnight and over the weekend.

This to allow for cross carriageway drainage works ready for a new road realignment.

Access for cyclists and pedestrians will be maintained throughout the works and there will be a fully signed diversion route in place.

HS2 shared: "HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost.

"This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area."
