A motorbike which has been used to cause antisocial behaviour across Leamington has been seize.
Both the rider and the bike were issued with a Road Traffic Act warning after an officer at Leamington Police caught the rider "aimlessly revving the bike."
The incident comes after several reports of antisocial use of motorbikes riding up and down Parade and several other roads in Leamington town centre last week.
Yesterday (5 April) an officer fromLeamington Police shared: "As if by magic, whilst one lady was stood talking to a colleague and I about the nuisance bikes, one of the culprits pulled up in front of us at traffic lights, aimlessly revving the bike - much to the annoyance of all the lovely people trying to enjoy the town around him.
"As I was on foot at the time it wasn't suitable for me to try and catch up with the motorbike (I'm quick but not that quick) - I was hoping to strike some luck and come across it whilst conducting vehicle patrols. Thankfully, that exact thing happened today...
"Thanks for talking to me about your issues when you see me out on foot in the town - we can't solve issues that were not aware of. It's good to talk!"
