The recently opened paddling pool at Victoria Park in Leamington will be closed from to today (14 August) due to "technical issues" says Warwick District Council.

The pool reopened after refurbishment on Saturday 26 July and was set to have pool has benefited from a "much-needed" upgrade, including non-slip surfaces, improved pool surrounds, jets and fountains with free-standing shades, and benches around the outside for parents.

In relation, St Nicholas' Park in Warwick also saw a developed pool, however opened a few weeks after the Leamington one.

WDC said: "We sincerely apologise for any disappointment or inconvenience this may cause, and we thank you for your understanding."

A date for when the pool will be open again has not been given.
