Public path in Cubbington to face over eight months of diversion for HS2 works

A public path closure has been announced for the Cubbington area, with a temporary diversion set to be in place for over eight months.
HS2 has announced a partial closure of the public path W137, near A445 Leicester Lane, will be in place from 29 June to 26 July 2026 with no diversion.
This will be followed by a temporary diversion of up to eight months from 26 July 2026 until 31 March 2027.
Pedestrians will be able to navigate through the area by using the clearly signposted diversion as illustrated in the map below.
