A planned protest will be taking place in Leamington this weekend (Saturday 16 May).
Warwick District Green Party will be supporting Justice For Palestine with the protest which is against 'Israel's involvement in Eurovision in the midst of their genocidal campaign in Gaza.'
The protest will be taking place from 8pm at the Royal Pump Rooms Gardens.
It follows letters to the BBC from Warwick District Green Party's which were sent in September 2025.

An excerpt from the letter read: "Since October 2023, Israel has killed at least 64,656 and wounded 163,503 Palestinians in Gaza.
"Entire neighbourhoods have been reduced to rubble. Families have been, and are being starved, displaced and traumatised on an unimaginable scale.
"International experts, including UN officials, have warned repeatedly that Israel's actions bear the hallmarks of genocide."
The letter also addressed the death toll of journalists in Gaza during the war stating: "According to the CPJ... more press members have been killed there (Gaza) in the past two years than were killed worldwide in the prior three years combined."

Additionally, Warwick District Green Party shared an excerpt from letters the leadership which stated that the war is reminiscent of the "global struggle against apartheid South Africa..."
