A popular Leamington independent furniture shop has officially closed its doors after three decades of serving customers in the town.

Stone the Crows, on Regent Street, closed down on Saturday, 28 June.

The closure comes as a result of the end of the store's lease, along with the closure of its wholesale company.

Taking to Facebook to share the news, the store said: " We want to sincerely thank all the friends and loyal customers we've met along the way — your support has meant the world to us, and we will truly miss everyone."

Prior to closing, the store launched a closing-down sale, offering discounts of up to 50 percent on its wide range of products, including homeware, furniture, kitchen accessories, and gifts.

The Leamington branch was one of two others, including Dronfield in Derbyshire, which will continue and High Garrett, Braintree, Essex, which has also now closed.
