Plans for 140 homes in Radford Semele, situated on the outskirts of Leamington Spa, have been revealed.

Taylor Wimpey Strategic Land has submitted a scheme to Warwick District Council, which would convert rural land off Southam Road into homes.

Before a full planning application is submitted, the developer has asked the council whether an 'environmental impact assessment' is needed before the plans can progress.

The application, received on 1 July 2025, proposes the development of approximately 140 homes, along with public open space, landscaping, drainage features, and associated infrastructure, including pedestrian improvements.

In 2017 Taylor Wimpey was refused planning permission for 115 homes off Southam Road.

Warwick District Council said at the time the benefits would be "demonstrably outweighed" by the "significant landscape harm" that would be caused.
