A seven-bedroom house in multiple occupation (HMO) in Leamington is set to be converted back into a five-bedroom single occupancy home.

Planning permission has been granted for the property on Avenue Road, with planners concluding that the proposed dwelling would provide "adequate living conditions for future occupiers".

In the decision notice, it was noted: "All habitable rooms will benefit from adequate levels of light and outlook.

"It is also noted that the garden size is compliant with the standards set out in the Council's Residential Design Guide SPD.

"Therefore, the proposal is compliant with the aforementioned policies."

Royal Leamington Spa Town Council submitted comments on the application but neither objected to nor supported the plans.

No additional parking spaces are proposed as part of the development.

The existing floor plans will also remain as they are, with no plans for interior or structural changes.
