New talks announced for 2025/2026 by Friends of Leamington Art Gallery

Friends of Leamington Art Gallery are hosting a new series of talks this winter.
The talks will be held at the Dormer Conference Centre, at Dormer Place in Leamington.
Admissions at £3 for members and £5 for guests, and include coffee, tea and biscuits.
The line-up of talks for the rest of this year and going into next year (2026) are as follows:
On 14 October from 7.30pm, Jeff Watkin will be giving a talk: Concealment & Deception: The Art of the Camoufleurs of Leamington Spa 1939-1945
On 18 November from 7.30pm Trudy Hillier will discus the History of Pantomime
On Wednesday 17 December at 2.30pm Helen Castor will give a talk on The Eagle and the Hart: The Tragedy of Richard II and Henry IV
On Wednesday, 14 January 2026, at 2.30pm, Simon Gulliver will discuss Arts and Crafts Gardens
On Wednesday 18 February at 2.30pm will be Dr. Graham Twemlow on Chiltern Landscapes, Art & Design in the Chilterns
On Tuesday 17 March at 7.30pm is Lewis McNaught on Returning Heritage, Informing the Restitution Debate
On Tuesday 14 April 7.30pm will be the Annual General Meeting, followed by Adam Wood's talk on Victorian Crime in Leamington
