Leamington Spa may soon welcome a new pizzeria if plans submitted by Crustworthy Pizza are approved. 

The application requests permission to convert a storage unit at Victoria Business Centre on Neilson Street into a pizzeria.

The proposal includes modifications such as the construction of restrooms for customers and staff, as well as the installation of freestanding modular kitchen units.

The intended pizzeria aims to offer a community-focused atmosphere, accommodating up to 25 customers.

The proposed site is unit 19, which is currently vacant. 

According to the planning documents, "The unit is currently designated for B8 storage, and we are seeking a change of use to Class E that will provide a relaxed, community-oriented setting for residents and visitors to enjoy rustic, hand-stretched pizzas with top-tier ingredients.

The proposal underlines a vision for a welcoming venue that melds with the industrial character of the area, noting that: "No structural changes are required to adapt the space."

The suggested operating hours for the pizzeria are Monday to Wednesday from 10am to 11pm, Thursday from 10am. to midnight, Friday and Saturday from 10am to 12.30am and Sunday from 10am to 11.30pm.

The applicant assures that these hours are: "designed to align with the typical leisure times of our target customer base while respecting the quiet hours of the surrounding area."

Located in an industrial zone, the pizzeria will offer ample parking facilities, "facilitating convenient access for customers and minimising any adverse impact on local traffic."

Regarding design, the application states that focus will be on a "professional and modern aesthetic that harmoniously complements the industrial ambience of the surrounding environment." 

The applicant is committed to "adhering to all applicable local building and operational regulations, including noise management and safety standards, to guarantee a seamless integration into the community."

The proposal concluded: "We firmly believe that this establishment will make a positive contribution to Leamington Spa by providing a distinctive gathering space within an accessible and thoughtfully designed environment."
