New deputy mayor elected for Royal Leamington Spa, 2025-2026

Councillor Sarah Boad has been elected as deputy mayor for 2025-2026 for Royal Leamington Spa.
Cllr Boad, county councillor for Leamington North, was elected at the Town Council's annual meeting yesterday (15 May), which took place at the Assembly Hall at the Royal Pump Rooms in Leamington.
She accepted the role alongside Cllr Ruggy Singh, who was elected as the role of mayor of Royal Leamington Spa 2025-2026 at the meeting.
Cllr Boad's husband and fellow councillor, Alan Boad, will act as her consort.
Accepting the role of deputy mayor, Cllr Boad said: "Thank you very much indeed for your support.
"I look forward to my year as deputy mayor."
Boad was last deputy mayor in 1993-94.
