Name revealed for new Leamington Lounge restaurant

The name of the planned restaurant and café bar, set to open in the former tile showroom on the Parade in Leamington Spa, has been revealed.
'Salino Lounge' is set to provide an environment for families and pets, with plans to engage the community through reading groups and support for local charities.
The West Country-based chain, known for its relaxed café-bar venues, received permission on April 9 to serve alcohol daily from 10am to midnight.
Operating hours are expected to run from 8am to 12:30am, seven days a week, and the venue is expected to create around 30 local jobs.
And now the venue has submitted an application for its new signs.
"The site has a busy pedestrian usage," it said.
"The immediate neighbourhood is mixed use in character with shops and cafes on ground floor, and some residential flats located to the upper floors of the retail and commercial premises.
"This adds to the eclectic mix of periods and styles of buildings within the area.
"The proposed use of the property as a café/bar will make the building more 'outward looking' and will help integrate it back into the life of the town."
Lounge has also submitted a separate application for a number of works to turn the vacant unit into a restaurant.
That application stated: "The aim of every Lounge is to tie in with local customers, so that they can make of the Lounge what they will; whether a customer wants to come in for a coffee after dropping children to school, a working lunch, or a tipple after work, Lounges can provide an environment for all these purposes.
"As well as these everyday activities, each site will be tied in with local charities and initiatives.
"For example, during the pandemic, a number of Lounge sites opened up to make food packages for local shelters and schools.
"Also, they will run reading groups, young mums' support groups, Christmas initiatives, as well as a number of others."
The four-storey building is located on the western side of the Parade, at the corner of Regent Street in central Leamington Spa.
The café bar is intended to "revitalise the currently vacant space," promote social interaction and contribute to the "economic sustainability of the area " by attracting families and locals.
It also aims to become a "popular destination for locals of all ages, encouraging social interaction within the community."

Situated on the town's main street and surrounded by shops, cafés, and restaurants, plans for the Lounge are to complement the area's existing character.
Open throughout the day and into the evening, the food-led venue will cater especially to families.
The café bar will be operated by Loungers Limited, a successful Bristol-based company currently expanding its Lounge and Cosy Club sites across the country.
The application added: "Loungers Limited present a prestige offering and are experienced in dealing with listed buildings across the country."
It also noted that the hiring of local staff and increased footfall will help support nearby retailers, contributing to the "economic sustainability of Royal Leamington Spa."
