Officers from the Leamington Safer Neighbourhood Team will be actively engaging with young individuals in town this evening (23 January).

This is to discuss an initiative in collaboration with WDC Community Safety, Young People First, and Safeline.

Operation Safe Path is a proactive campaign designed to educate, prevent, and protect communities from various harms, including issues related to sexual consent and harassment, violence against women and girls, and drink spiking.

Operation Safe Path integrates enforcement, education, and community engagement with the goal of establishing a safe environment for everyone within the Warwick District.

As part of their outreach efforts, officers will be stationed at the entrance to The Safe Space, located at the entrance to Jephson Gardens on Parade, between 6pm and 9pm where they will be available to engage with the community.
