A season of sparkle is set to begin in Warwick District, and kicking off the light switch-on events is Leamington Spa.
The fun begins in Leamington on Sunday, 16 November for the Big Lights Switch On, with a Christmas market from 10 am.
The stage outside the Town Hall will feature music from 1pm and live entertainment from 2pm to 6pm.
Leamington's lights will be switched on at 5.30pm by the Mayor of Royal Leamington Spa, Cllr Ruggy Singh and Father Christmas himself.
Cllr Ella Billiald, Portfolio Holder for Arts, Culture and Economy, said: "We're delighted to deliver these events on behalf of the District's towns, providing an entertaining space for friends and families to come together and celebrate the festive season.
"I would like to thank our Business Support and Events team, the Town Councils and our many partners who work tirelessly each year to make these events a great success.
"Not only do these events provide a sense of community and belonging, they are also a great support for our local businesses throughout the Christmas period. We look forward to welcoming you to our town centres for a season of celebration."
Taking place from 16 to 30 November, Kenilworth, Warwick, Whitnash, and surrounding villages will also each host their light switch-on events with a fantastic selection of entertainment, music, food, and seasonal stalls.
Parking will be free in all Warwick District Council off-street car parks in Leamington from 8am on Sunday 16 November to support the event.
Also, it will be free in all Warwick District Council off-street car parks from 8am on Saturday 6 December 2025 in Warwick, Leamington and Kenilworth for Small Business Saturday.
On-street parking charges will still apply.
