Leamington's Royal Spa Centre, located on Newbold Terrace, has announced an exciting new installation.

A post shared on Facebook by Warwick District Council revealed the Arts Section has introduced a brand-new, state-of-the-art cinema projector and screen.

The screen is set to deliver the year-round film programme to life "like never before".

John Greet, Technical and Facilities Manager, said: "After 10 years of reliable service, our old projector was due for an upgrade.

"Thanks to Warwick District Council's Equipment Renewal Fund, we're now able to offer an enhanced cinematic experience and continue generating valuable income for the council."

With greater picture quality and Dolby 5.1 sound in its 180-seat venue, the upgrade marks a new chapter for cinema at the Royal Spa Centre.

Arts Manager Paul Roberts said:  "We've always had a rich and varied film programme.

"Now we can share it with audiences old and new, both locally and further afield.

"We can't wait to hear what you think!"
