Leamington is set to host a children's bikeathon this May, in support of charity.

The Kids' Bikeathon is a sponsored event and will take place at Victoria Park from 10am to 12noon on 10 May.

Children up to year siz can participate in the event, which will help raise money for Blood Cancer UK, which is one of the most common form of childhood cancer.

Children will cycle around the half mile tarmac circuit for as many laps as they wish. Smaller children are welcome to use scooters, but all participants must wear helmets.

Every child will receive a medal when they finish.
