The Loft theatre in Leamington has announced the appointment of renowned actor David Bradley as its new president.

The theatre celebrated Bradley's new position at its Annual General Meeting last week.

David Bradley, born in York, has spent many years residing in Stratford and is now a close neighbour to the theatre in Leamington.

A graduate of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA), Bradley boasts a distinguished career that includes significant work with the National Theatre and the Royal Shakespeare Company, as well as numerous film, screen, and theatre appearances.

Since the 1970s, Bradley has captivated audiences with a rich array of performances that reflect his exceptional talent and dedication. His contributions to the performing arts are widely recognized and continue to inspire.

The Loft Theatre expressed its gratitude for Bradley's involvement, stating that Bradley's "support of the Loft and its work has been immeasurable, and the whole Loft company has engaged with him over recent years.

"Our thanks to him for accepting this title with us. We look forward to welcoming him for many more years to come."
