Leamington Police are inviting all women and girls who live or work in Warwickshire to join them for a community walk.

The event will take place on Wednesday, 21 May, from 6.00pm to 7.00pm.

Participants are asked to meet at the Leamington Bandstand on Dormer Place in Leamington Spa.

In a post shared on Facebook, Leamington Police encouraged local women and girls to take part: "Come along to speak to us, or just come along for a great walk!"

The walk will cover approximately two miles and is designed to be accessible to everyone.

It will start and end at the same location.

Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Leamington Police wrote: "We will also be supplying some personal safety products.

"We look forward to meeting you."

This initiative offers a chance for community members to engage with local officers, enjoy a safe evening walk, and receive helpful safety resources.
