Leamington Peace Festival 2026 returns this June under new management
By Nadia Sayed 1st May 2026
Leamington Peace Festival is set to return this year (2026) under new management, including involvement from one of its original founders from 1978.
Organisers say they are "thrilled" to revive the long-running community event, which will once again bring together music, talks, arts, and family-friendly activities celebrating peace, creativity, and cooperation.
As a not-for-profit, volunteer-run festival, the team is currently raising funds to cover essential upfront costs.
This year's event will fall on 13 to 14 June 2026 from 10am to 6pm at the Pump Room Gardens.
It is free to attend and will feature music, peace talks and a range of activities.
Stalls, which will help to fund the festival, will include local charities and organisations, vegetarian and vegan food, crafts and more.
The Leamington Peace Festival has long aimed to promote understanding of international peace, environmental harmony, and community cooperation. Organisers say the 2026 event will continue that mission by encouraging participation from local and international groups, raising awareness of key issues, and showcasing local artists, craftspeople, and fair-trade initiatives.
While a recent crowdfunding campaign has brought the festival close to its goal, organisers emphasise that further contributions are still vital to ensure the event's success.
Currently, the total fundraised stands at over £2,695.
They are also inviting local charities, campaign groups, and stallholders to take part in the festival weekend.
With strong community backing and a packed programme in the works, organisers say the festival's return marks 'an exciting new chapter for one of Leamington's most cherished events.'
