A Leamington-based not-for-profit organisation that provides food and shelter for the homeless and vulnerably housed in the town are looking for volunteers this Christmas.
The LWS Night Shelter has called for individuals to help support its team in bringing some 'festive cheer' to its guests and helping those experiencing homelessness or who are vulnerably-housed, many of whom would otherwise spend Christmas alone.
Every year during the Christmas period the organisation extends its usual weekend opening to cover the days between Christmas Eve and New Year.
This year it is striving to provide a full service every day, including overnight stays.
This ensures that its guests still have somewhere they can come to for a safe night's sleep, and a warm place to eat and hang out throughout the festive season.
Those interested in getting involved should fill out the Christmas volunteering form here.
Everyone is welcome, no matter your previous experience, as long as you are aged 18 or above.
The LWS team shared: "If you can't help by volunteering your time but would still like to help, keep an eye out for our Reverse Advent Calendar Appeal.
"You can follow along on social media each day in December, or get the list in advance to distribute at your school, workplace, uni halls, with your friends and family or just so you can get organised yourself!"
To get the full list in advance fill in the Reverse Advent Calendar interest form here.
