Leamington in Bloom opens doors to new volunteers with 'creative ideas' for event planning in the town

Leamington in Bloom is calling for new volunteers to support its efforts, including planning events for the upcoming year.
The group is seeking two to three individuals with "creative ideas" who are interested in helping to plan events and community outreach in Leamington.
The individuals will not be involved in hands-on gardening.
Made up of a small team of volunteers working alongside Royal Leamington Spa Town Council, Leamington in Bloom meets approximately once a month to plan events and initiatives.
The focus is on engaging residents, local businesses, schools, and community groups in conservation and community beautification activities.
Each year, Leamington in Bloom delivers key projects such as the floral train displays at Jephson Gardens and Leamington Railway Station and runs an annual photographic competition, with winning entries featured in the Leamington in Bloom calendar.
Leamington in Bloom has also won gold for seven consecutive years in the Heart of England In Bloom competition, working with Warwick District Council to showcase Leamington's natural habitats and biodiversity.
Anyone interested in joining the planning group can contact the Deputy Town Clerk at [email protected] or call 01926 450906
