A dog rescuer from Leamington has launched a fundraiser to help provide treatment for a blind bulldog he recently rescued.

Philip Gregory, started a go fund me campaign to give bulldog, Dolly, from Dornchurch in Rugby, 'the love she deserves.'

Dolly has already had both of her eyes removed and experienced three C-sections, but needs further surgery to help with her breathing.

She was previously dumped and found as a stray before being adopted last week by Phil.

So far, over 140 people have donated and £2,717 has been raised of the £3500 goal to cover costs of the vet bill for Dolly's care.

Phil shared: "Thank you so much to everyone who has helped us with donations, it has been amazing.

"Anyone that knows me will know the work I do to help rescue dogs! One of those Rescue dogs was Dolly the blind Bulldog!
