A Leamington bakery and cafe has paused its services temporarily after unsuccessful lease negotiations.

Wilhelmina on Portland Street, opened for the last time this weekend (4-5 July).

The team shared the closure is due to failed negotiations to maintain its current location on Portland Street.

However, the closure is temporary and will last until the cafe can find another premise to open.

Taking to Instagram, the Wilhemina team shared: "Sadly our chance to stay put on Portland Street has failed, we have to go, our negotiations didn't end with positivity and love.

"We will keep you updated here all along the way!

"The new place is coming!"

The team went on to express gratitude towards its customers, for their "support and patience" as the cafe "regroups to become stronger and better than before"
