HS2 works are set to take place in Cubbington starting next month (2 February).

Works are planned on B4453 Rugby Road, Cubbington and will be split into two phases.

During phase one, a new access will be built for a local business. During phase two, utility connections for BT and Severn Trent Water will be completed.

Phase one will take place from Monday 2 February to Saturday 21 February 2026 and will require a full road closure while a new access is constructed for a local business.

Phase two is scheduled for Monday 27 April to Friday 1 May 2026.

During this phase, temporary traffic lights will be in operation overnight and at weekends to allow utility connection works for BT and Severn Trent Water to be completed.

Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained throughout the works, and a fully signed diversion route will be in place for drivers.
