Saturday 30 August 2025 marks the return of the popular EcoFest to Leamington's Pump Room Gardens.

Now in its sixth year this popular event, which attracts thousands each year, takes place from 10am to 5pm and celebrates everything eco with a range of have-a-go sessions and activities covering everything from wellbeing and fitness to sustainability; a delicious choice of local & sustainable food; and a variety of music from local artists on the bandstand.

Visitors will also be able to browse a range of stalls from local businesses offering healthy and sustainable alternatives, with charities and Community Interest Companies (CICs) on hand to discuss the work they do in the community to combat climate change and improve people's health and wellbeing.

The event has attracted over 8,000 visitors since it first began in 2019 and has now become a staple part of the town's events calendar.

Cllr Lowell Williams, Portfolio Holder for Decarbonisation, said: "EcoFest is the perfect opportunity to find out more about what's happening locally to improve our lives and the environment, and to discover ways in which we can work together for the benefit of everyone.

"Since it first began, the event has proven to be a great success, demonstrating that people consciously want to make a difference to their environment. "It's an event designed for everyone, so I encourage as many as possible to attend, talk, explore, discover, and commit to at least one change they can make that will truly make a difference."

Cllr Ella Billiald, Portfolio Holder for Arts, Culture and Economy, added: "EcoFest has become a key event in the calendar, bringing friends and families together in Leamington's beautiful Pump Room Gardens.

"There will be opportunities to take part in a range of activities, enjoy locally sourced food, including vegan and vegetarian options and explore ways to become more active in our district's wonderful parks… and of course, an event wouldn't be complete without a great line-up of music from the park's iconic bandstand."

Part of the ethos of the event is to show how easy it is to live a healthy, sustainable, plastic-free life.
