A busy Leamington road is closed due to carriageway flooding.
Princes Drive in the town has been closed off this morning (16 December) due to carriageway flooding, Warwickshire County Council stated.
The flooding caused a vehicle to get stuck in the water.
A signed diversion route is in place, and the council's teams are working hard to clear the water.
WCC has thanked motorists for their patience, while the issue is resolved.
It follows several issues with flooding on the road and attempts to resolve the issue including works on Sunday (14 December).
Despite this, the issue still remains.
In response local group Leamington Society has said it is awaiting the drain maintenance records and, "given the lack of progress, we will now be writing to Warwickshire County Council's Portfolio Holder for Transport and Planning."
It added: "We appreciate that these frequent updates may test people's patience, but the repeated, unplanned road closures cause significant disruption—particularly during the busy pre-Christmas period -so we feel it is important to keep pressing for a proper solution."
