Flood alerts raised for Leamington

Multiple flooding alerts have been issued around Leamington Spa and South Warwickshire.

The environment raised the alert for the Rivers Leam and Itchen this morning (November 14) as Storm Claudia hits the UK.

Other alerts have also been raised for Canley and Finham Brooks in Kenilworth as well as the River Avon.

The Leam and Itchen alert said: "Flooding is possible from the morning of 14 November 2025.

"Flooding may affect low-lying land and roads adjacent to the River Leam between Grandborough and Leamington including Kites Hardwick, Birdingbury, Marton, Eathorpe, Hunningham and Offchurch and the River Itchen between Southam and Marton including Long Itchington.

"We are closely monitoring the situation."

Meanwhile of the River Avon, the Environment Agency said flooding could impact from Rugby to Bidford including Warwick and Stratford upon Avon.

An amber weather warning has also been issued by the Met Office.
