Extra police officers patrol Leamington after recent anti-social behaviour and violence
By Nadia Sayed 26th Oct 2026
Following recent incidents of anti-social behaviour and violence in the town, extra officers were out in Leamington over the weekend (24 - 25 October).
It comes after two incidents last weekend, which saw a teenager stabbed at the Pump Rooms gardens and a separate incident that saw a man in his 20s taken to hospital with a serious head injury after an attack.
Leamington Police shared that the extra officers were 'nothing to worry about' and were part of specialist Project Servator teams carrying out regular deployments to disrupt criminality in the area.
Project Servator aims to disrupt a range of criminal activity, including terrorism, while providing a reassuring presence for the public.

Officers are experienced and specially trained to spot the signs that someone is planning or preparing to commit an act of crime.
Individuals who see something suspicious are advised to tell a police officer, use the online form to tell police about possible terrorist activity, or call the confidential Anti Terrorist Hotline on 0800 789 321.
If it's an emergency, call 999.
