A new emergency escape will be built at a growing local church.
Council planners have approved the works for Heathcote Parish Church and Community Centre which is set to be remodelled.
Plans for the Cressida Close site show the escape staircase would be built to the rear of the building.
The application said: "Due to church growth, the existing ceiling area over the creche / offices is being strengthened to create a mezzanine area for 46 additional seats."
It added: "The building control office and fire risk assessor have said an external escape stair is required for fire and safety reasons."
Signing off on the application, a report from Warwick District Council said: "The proposal is not considered to result in harm to the character of the area, residential amenity, highways safety, flood risk, ecology or climate change and adaption."
