Plans for eight 'custom build' bungalows in Bishops Tachbrook have been submitted to Warwick District Council.

Deeley Homes Limited has asked for outline planning permission for the homes on land opposite The Leopard public house on Oakley Wood Road.

Little detail is given of the houses in the plans, but they do show a new entrance would also be built off the road.

"The benefits of the development are significant," the application said.

"These include the delivery of self-build / custom-build homes for which there is a high need, economic benefits arising from construction and occupation of the homes, and the benefits arising from contributions towards improvements in local infrastructure, including the transfer of land to provide connectivity to the Tachbrook Country Park."

If the scheme is approved, separate 'reserved matters' applications would need to be submitted before any building takes place.

These applications would deal with the size and designs for the bungalows.
