After a successful first month in business, a Leamington cafe and bakery will be opening later on Thursday this week (2 October).

Douro & Co, located on Court Street in the town, celebrated its first day in business on Saturday (23 August).

The independent cafe offers a variety of Portuguese treats, including Pastel De Natas and authentic Portuguese coffee.

Its owner, Ana, announced the cafe will be trying to stay open until 8pm on Thursday this week, after 'many' requests from visitors for later opening hours.

Ana shared: "Thank you all for the amazing support in our first month… it's been incredible.

"Come by after work or school, enjoy a coffee or a pastel de nata, and let us know what you think of the later opening."

Currently, Douro & Co is open Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 3.30pm except on Wednesday when it is closed.

It is open until 4 pm on weekends.
