Countdown to Clarendon Town ward councillor election begins

Locals are gearing up to cast their votes in an upcoming election for a Town Councillor representing Leamington's Clarendon Town ward.
Individuals wishing to stand as a candidate must submit their nomination papers by 4pm on Friday 19 June 2026.
Those intending to vote must register by midnight on 30 June 2026.
Applications for a postal vote must be submitted by 5pm on 1 July 2026, while applications for a free Voter Authority Certificate (voter ID) must be made by 5pm on 8 July 2026.
Applications to vote by proxy, allowing someone else to vote on your behalf, must also be submitted by 5pm on 8 July 2026.
If the election is contested, polling day will take place on Thursday 16 July 2026.
