Warwick District Council is "pleased to announce" the ownership of its former HQ at Riverside House and the surrounding land will be transferred to Homes England on 1 April 2025.

The new owners will now be progressing their plans for the development of up to 74 new homes on the Milverton Hill site, having received outline planning permission from the council in February.

This is in conjunction with Homes England's planned development of Elizabeth Park an enlarged public space along the riverside, which will include the site of the Edmondscote Athletics track, once the relocation of the facilities is complete.

Prior to the acquisition of Riverside House, Homes England will be carrying out some minor vegetation clearance and pruning within the Riverside House site, ahead of the bird nesting season.
